Stylin' down memory lane

Who knew that Kylie and I were such fashionista's as little children?
The side pony tail says it all. :)
And look! Kylie has on a "bubble" onesie!

As you can see...we got our fashion gene's from our father.
How can you NOT love the muscle tee and hot shorts!

Wait! Hold the phone...
I think we also have benefited from our mom.
Top gun glasses and safari shorts.

Accessorizing in the Bedroom...

No, the title doesn't mean I bought new lingerie. :)

I am in a jewelry making frenzy right now...to say the LEAST.
But this idea had been in my head and I had to get it out so I could concentrate on getting ready for Art in the Park.

Inspired by clothing...

Farmville

Who knows about this? Farmville...have you heard of it?

I stayed away on purpose...but once I clicked on it just to check it out I knew that Kadie would love it. It is free, it is cute...you can buy pretend animals and barns and plants.

The problem? I have to plan everything around it! I am unwillingly hooked. Every night before I go to bed I check on Kadie's farm to make sure that she remembered to harvest everything. Then once I get back from taking her to school I have to check on "Kadie's" farm to make sure that everything I planted the night before is harvested so that she gets more money to buy more things. Then I have to decide if I should replant some pumpkins or strawberries for her to harvest herself when she gets home from school or something that takes a whole day so she will get more money.

The strawberries win most of the time because she has fun harvesting them right when she gets home. Even though she gets less "experience" points.

Oye.

P.S. I just found out that Ben Hall helped make this game! It makes me love him and mad at him at the same time. :)

Can I say Envy?

You too can look like this...

Just ask your local dentist for 5 shots of Novocaine on one side of your mouth. And make sure you ask for a pair of protective glasses while they are working on your mouth so that you have marks on your forehead for the rest of the day.
(I just added the crossed eyes for a cool effect). There is no other feeling like touching the side of your face having it feel like a warm lump of play dough.

Josh's picture just looked like a mug shot because he was numb all over. But I SHOULD have recorded what he sounded like. A little bit fruity and a little bit insane with a lot of mumbling.
I think Troy MacDonald has a message from Josh if anyone wants to hear it.
We were laughing so hard at each other...we really should have recorded it.

Cavity

I had my first cavity filled today...ever. I was so scared to get a shot in my gums. I have been poking them all week trying to figure out if it will hurt a lot or not.

It didn't hurt! And they numbed me up goooooooood. I have a lovely smile right now...only one side of my face will actually smile. :)

What is the first thing I did once I got home? I ate an In-n-out burger that Josh bought me for lunch. It is probably one of the most dangerous things I have ever done...eating a hamburger when my face and tongue are numb. But I was really careful.

Poor Joshy is there getting a root canal right now. He texted me and said they gave him 5 shots of Novocaine...and he was shaking. I feel so bad! Hopefully he will be home and sleeping soon.

Happy Birthday Big Josh!

Chose this picture from "Vegas baby". Just because I wish we were on one of our little Vegas getaways together right now. :) I hope you have a wonderful birthday!

Things I have learned about Josh since I married him:

He cannot pass up an electronic deal. If he doesn't have the money, he will find someone who does and try to talk them into buying it. He doesn't want the deal to get wasted. :)

He goes back and forth from wanting to be a rap star and a Cowboy. I like the Cowboy phase the best. :)

He sniffs every time he cuts someone off in the car, or passes a cop worried he is going a little too fast.

He loves food almost as much as Laney.

He truly loves our kids, but Crew definitely has him wrapped around his finger. If I want to buy or do anything...I just have to come up with a reason that it will benefit Crew and I need no other excuse.

He is awesome at folding laundry. I bet he wishes I didn't know that one. :)

His inner kid comes out when we go to the park. Sometimes he even rides his scooter there!

He is a great teacher, except when it comes to snowboarding.

He loves shopping for clothes for himself, and can't pass up a good deal on that either.

He should have been born to Royalty so that he could golf and shop and eat all day.

He loves to sing and has a good voice!

Josh loves to bake cookies. He makes them once a week...I really love that.

He has almost as many voice imitations as my Dad, and if you have ever heard one he must like you. If not, sorry.

I love you and all of your quirks Josh. The kids and I are so lucky to have you in our lives.
You are a thirty something now!!! See you tonight!

Crew...Take Five

Look who is getting so big!

He weighs 15 lbs 3 oz
He is at 20% height
40% weight
and get this...

60% head circumference. He is a genius.

Crew can almost do the "tri-pod" all by himself!

Mr. Personality

Crew learned to grab his toes

Naturally grabbing his toes led to the next thing...

Rolling Over!

I didn't start feeding Laney solid foods until 8 months. But this little guy can't get enough.
He opens his mouth like this when he sees me across the room with his food.

Now that he isn't so fragile, Laney has become a lot more comfortable with him...
He gets PLENTY of kisses, and is sometimes placed in a spot other than where I left him.

Waldron Family Visit Part III

The Newly married couple came by for dinner. We surprisingly had Cafe Rio Pork Taco's which seems to have been a staple meal with the latest few Waldron get-togethers. It is good, I will say that. Although having it for lunch and dinner the past two days...I am ready for something new. :)

Look! They brought home a honeymoon baby! (kidding, obviously)

Grandma and Grandpa had to leave early, so we waved goodbye.

Did I forget to mention another marriage in the family? Below is Stella (left) and Henry (right).
Stella is a Utah native and owned by Spencer and Debbie. She was so excited to come to California and meet her betrothed Henry, who is a Bay Area, California native. It was love at first sight...they just look like they go together.

Once the guys got home from the airport...we took a stroll to the park!
Where we played with balls...

Spencer and Debbie tried out the thug style with Crew...

Crew took a ride down the slide with Auntie Debs...

The Daddy's pretended they were playing for BYU and Oklahoma State...

Morgan toddled around looking cute...

And she practiced going up and down a step!

Crew sported his new Nike's (Thanks Danielle...so cute!)

And he kept making this face...

This is what he was looking at.

Morgan learned to ride a plasma car!

And Leisa took a turn too...

The End!
Thanks everyone for visiting!
Come again! We loved having more room. :)

Waldron Family Visit Day I and II

Like my sister-in-law Debbie always says...
"You know you are a Waldron if you have a family reunion every other month"!

We racked our brains trying to figure out what to do that was fun and different!
We decided on feeding the ducks at Blackhawk.

Too bad it is under construction for the next 3 weeks. There was NO WATER, and almost no ducks. But as always, once they realized we had food for them, they came out of hiding.

We got to see the kids only cousin on Josh's side of the family.
Baby Morgan, who is not so much of a baby anymore!

The girls practically had their faces smashed to the glass when they saw the toy store!

Laney holding Spencer's hand. They are definitely kindred spirits. ;)

We went swimming, (at our old complex because there is a hot tub).
We brought along presents for everyone from the dollar store and ate strawberry shortcake. Kadie had the idea to make it into a big giant birthday party for everyone. Almost everyone who came had a summer birthday that we missed because we are lame...but hopefully our expensive presents made up for that. :)

Even Crew stuck his feet in the water!

We ate good food, visited a lot, and surprisingly didn't play settlers!?!?

The girls even impressed us with their mad skills.

Family Portrait

Laney is a budding artist.
This is our family portrait she drew for Josh's family who came into town to visit.

In no particular order...here we are! (caption above picture)

Kadie

Laney

Daddy.
Don't you love his spiked hair. She has such attention to detail!

After the Wedding...

This is pretty much what we all looked like. Passed out.

Laney found some more uses for all of the extra jelly beans!
We quickly told her after this picture to never put anything up her nose...
Don't really want that emergency story to tell. :)

Alex found a pet baby lizard...

He rides around with her on her shoe.

Crew made friends with everyone who came for the wedding. He loved being held so much. I wish I would have taken a picture of him and my Aunt Amy who was basically his surrogate mother while she was here. He loved her!
