Pictures from Kelli Nicole

Had to save up for these, but I finally got them in the mail and I can't stop looking at them.
Kelli is so amazing, and even though my kids are not so photogenic...

Kadie was the DEFINITION of sass that day.

We still found some gems. :)

I will be getting these on my wall soon!

Mess Maker Mess Maker

It has happened. Crew has learned the importance of a good mess.

All day, I find little messes like this.
I clean them up as I go, only to find another one around the corner.
Our Crew boy is busy!

How to Make a Good Mess...
By Joshua Crew Waldron

1. Enter the room with a big smile

2. Find a good area to make your mess

3. Crawl as fast as you can to the spotted area

4. Make sure someone is looking so that you get credit for the mess

5. Take everything out and throw it around. The more mess the better!

The Sassy Pepper

I am introducing you to my new creative endeavor! I have started a crafting, home-made everything blog. :)

I play the character "Pepper" who loves to craft and add her own flair to everything that she makes.
My sister, Kylie is "Sassy", another crafting mommy who has more Sass than life itself. We are so excited to start this together and I hope you will like our goofy stories and fun and easy ideas. :)

This is a recent example of an excerpt from our blog.
We would love to know what you think from time to time. Thanks for reading!

I love every time I hear that song. I think I loved it more once I had a daughter. How could these not be a favorite among home made Valentines?

Materials used: Hot glue (my FAVorite), scissors, twisty ties, cute paper, and a Hershey's kiss!

Have fun making love notes!
(You can write a special message under the wings).

Cheers,

Check up for Crew Boy

Crew is getting bigger! 9 (almost 10) month check up:

Date: 1/26/2010
length/height: 28.4 inches 45%
Weight: 19 lbs 10 oz 27 %
Head Cir: 18.2 inches 71 %

So if this keeps going, as an adult he will be about 5'9", 100 lbs and look like a bobble head.

It's far enough away for things to correct themselves, I don't think I need to worry. :)

Krabby Patty

Yes. My kids love Spongebob. I just had this conversation with my friend Natalie. I have a love/hate relationship with Spongebob. My kids love it so I want to love it. But sometimes it just grosses me out. The bulging eye balls, and squirty noises...

I have to admit though, I thought it was the cutest (and funniest) thing when I asked Laney what she wanted the other day when we went to In n Out. "I want a Krabby Panny Mama".

It was almost as cute as when she used to say that she wanted to walk on the "Cheese line" when we would cross the street. Of course I should have known right away she was talking about the yellow lines for the crosswalk that are the color or cheese.

Would you have known that?

How does she...???

I heard knocking and crying when I came out of the laundry room a couple of days ago.
It was coming from here.

Naturally I knew it was Crew inside and that Laney had put him there. I didn't know that when I opened it Laney would be in there too! I also don't know how she got the door shut from the inside. It is a hard cabinet to shut from the outside!

Oh Laney. :)

Haiti

I am just sick over the type of day Haiti is dealing with right now. They are estimating that 100,000-500,000 people could be dead and missing in the rubble of a 7.0 earthquake. The pictures are indescribable. Any movie made in relation to a huge earthquake couldn't compare. It is devastating. I can't imagine the fear and the chaos.

To know that Haiti is one of the world poorest countries just breaks my heart. I hope aid gets there quickly and people can be saved.

One particular picture of a small girl praying in a church really pulled at my heartstrings. I am so touched that children are keeping the people of Haiti in their prayers. We want to talk to our kids about it as best we can and ask them to pray with us for the people in Haiti as well.

I know people will turn to God in a time like this. I sincerely hope that they can gain some comfort and peace. My heart goes out to the families and friends of the people of Haiti.
