We had a Happy Easter

This Easter was unique, because it was the same weekend as general conference.
I was a little nervous thinking about last year in our little apartment with two girls, one pregnant mom, and one overworked dad watching old people talk on TV. It was a little stressful last year.

This year we incorporated crafts during the sessions! We dyed Easter Eggs, made fancy hats, and colored primary pages with the general authorities pictures. We even went for a bike ride in between morning and afternoon blocks. The girls had a good time and I think the only complaint we heard really was that we didn't boil enough eggs. :)

We had to do some boy-themed eggs for Crew boy. How did we get that truck on the egg?

We just used stickers! It was so easy, and fun to peel them off and see the picture underneath.

We hope you had a happy Easter! We gained some wonderful insight and heard great testimony of our Savior. It was so rewarding to hear the girls talk about Jesus. Kadie even noticed the telephone poles outside look like the cross he was nailed to. Nothing sweeter than a simple testimony of a child.

Time Out.

Crew found Laney's teeny tiny dinosaur today. Laney was so excited.
Her dinosaur's are like her "blankie". She sleeps with them at night.
This picture below is the mommy dinosaur. She was on time out.

Doesn't look so bad, until you scroll down further.

I am sure glad I didn't get a time out!

Pictures by Kadie

I totally forgot to post these a couple weeks ago!

On our way home from my parents house, we saw a rainbow out of the window of our car.
Kadie offered to take a picture when I said "Ah man, I can't take a picture right now!"
So she went to it at my approval.

I thought it was so cute to see the results. Most were blurry, but she got some great photos, and she had so much fun. She talks about it now like it is a great memory...

"Remember that time mom, that I saw a rainbow out the window? And I took a photograph of it while you were driving?" She says it in an Anne of Green Gables type voice. :)

And the picture of Kadie at the top? That one is by Laney.

Decision

Hello ladies (and men?)

Just need you to go vote here on whether or not we should do a weekly newsletter. Mostly for those people out there that are not a part of the blogging world. Vote at the top right corner.

Also, we would love to find out what you all want to see in the future! More food, less flowers, more paper??? What. do. you. want???

Leisa :)

Tall Grass

This is a path close to our house that goes right to a park. We walk on it 3-4 times a week.
The spring has already brought TALL grass and flowers. Most are probably weeds, but they still look pretty. Just us girls went for a walk last Sunday, and it was so great to spend time with the girls having fun together outside, being silly, and finding bugs!

Kadie's mission was to find a Caterpillar. And Laney's mission was to find a good stick!
We didn't find a Caterpillar until a few days later. Now it is somewhere in my house. All I know is that it was in the jar and now it isn't and neither daughter knows its where abouts!

Laney fell back in the grass over and over saying "Cannon ball!"
Can you find her?

LOVE the spring. :)

Cute Bum

Crew started sleeping with his bum in the air.
I almost woke him up because I thought it was so cute and wanted to squeeze him!

Destined

These two were meant for each other!
Not in the romantic way (we will see what the future brings)
but definitely destined for a long friendship.
